What Happens If My Payment Fails?

Contents

If we’re unable to collect your subscription payment, don’t worry. In most cases, the issue can be resolved quickly by updating your payment details.

    Automatic Payment Retries

If a payment fails, Growth Gorilla and friends will automatically attempt to process the payment again using your existing debit or credit card.

Payment failures can happen for a number of reasons, including:

    • Insufficient funds.
    • An expired debit or credit card.
    • Your card has been replaced.
    • Your bank has declined the transaction.
    • Temporary banking or payment network issues.

In many cases, the payment will be collected successfully on a subsequent attempt.

    Updating Your Payment Method

If your payment continues to fail, we recommend updating your payment details as soon as possible.

    To do this:

    1. Log in to Growth Gorilla and friends.
    2. Click Menu.
    3. Select Settings.
    4. Open Subscriptions.
    5. Click Update Payment Method.

You’ll be redirected to our secure payment provider, Stripe, where you can update your debit or credit card details.

What Happens If Payment Still Can’t Be Collected?

If we’re unable to collect payment after multiple attempts:

    • Your account may be temporarily restricted or suspended.
    • Access to some or all platform features may be limited until payment is received.
    • Your account may be referred to our credit control process for recovery of any outstanding subscription payments.

We always aim to resolve payment issues with you before taking further action.
